Phase 1: Arrival & Refrigeration (do this first)

• Keep Them In Their Package: Leave your wearables inside their clear delivery box or container. This creates a mini-greenhouse that traps moisture around the delicate stems.

• Refrigerate Immediately: Place the sealed container directly into a standard refrigerator until it’s time to put them on.

  • Crucial Rule: Keep them away from the back cooling vents (where they can freeze) and away from fresh fruit (fruit releases ethylene gas, which wilts flowers fast).

Phase 2: Putting Them On (Event Time)

• Put On Last: Don't pin or place wearables until after hair, makeup, hairspray, and perfume are completely finished. Chemicals in beauty products will damage fragile petals.

• Handle by the Stem Base: Touch only the taped stem, ribbon wrap, or wire structure—never pull or press directly on the delicate flower heads.

• Pinning Boutonnieres:

  • Place the floral flat against the lapel, stem pointing down. It should be placed on the left side, roughly 4 inches down from the shoulder seam.

  • From behind the lapel, push the pin through the fabric, straight through the thickest part of the wrapped stem, and back out through the lapel fabric.

  • A second pin is included for extra security. Pin it similarly to the first one, but crossing over the first for maximum hold.

• Wearing Corsages & Crowns:

  • Tie wrist corsages snug enough so they don't slide or spin around your wrist.

  • Adjust flower crowns gently using the ribbon ties rather than pulling on the floral structure itself.
